The Hampton Lady is a quiet restaurant with friendly staff and good scenery. The food is rather lacking though. I ordered the huge rib eye steak, and my wife got the special of two 1.25 lb lobsters. My steak looked as if it had been boiled, and the veggies were rock hard. The lobster was good, if not underwhelming. For the price I would have expected more.
Terrible! Was told 25-30 min wait, didn't get seated until over an hour later! The hostess started to seat us then as we were walking back she told us to "hold on" and made us stand there waiting while she ran off to talk to and hug her friends. Then she sat us outside in the dark to where we had to use our phone lights to read the menu. All this and the food wasn't that great. The lobster roll was dry and lobster was rubbery. My friend ordered the filet mignon and it had no flavor. The sides to the meals were terrible. The corn tasted old and, flavorless, and over cooked. The fries were wet and droopy. We let the waitress know our issues and they did nothing to try and make it right. Would advise against going here.
The pan seared scallops with risotto was perfect. Desserts excellent... Worth every $.❗️
Beautiful indoor atmosphere, obviously gorgeous outside. Delightful Donna was our server. Unfortunately food was only mediocre
